Eurofaser is the latest generation of fibre for fibre concrete.
Eurofaser is a technologically advanced polypropylene fibre specifically engineered for use in concrete, cement mortars, and readymade mixtures. It is coated with a special solution that leads to excellent bonding with cement paste and rapid dispersion. This fibre leads to improvement of the concrete quality with respect to micro crack reduction, compressive strength, crack tensile strength, flexural and abrasion resistant.
This fibre provides excellent dispersion capabilities and is designed for simple use by unskilled site workers. It is manufactured by Asota GmbH, Austria, an ISO 9001 and 14001 certified manufacturing company. The products of Asota hold prestigious CE product certification conforming to European Nations Norm (EN 14889-2). The OEKO-TEX certification guarantees that no harmful chemicals are being used to manufacture this fibre.
Features & Advantages
Excellent dispersion in dry as well as wet composition.
Provides a three-dimensional secondary reinforcement as the fibre is distributed evenly all over the mass at not just a particular level
Reduction of cracks due to shrinkage up to 100%.
Provides anti fire crack properties to the concrete with significantly lower damage rate (flaking off) in case of fire.
Leads to considerable savings of material due to 50 – 70% reduction in rebound loss while plastering.
It's simple to handle and extremely resistant to chemicals i.e. complete alkali, acid and salt proof.
Density of fibres – 30 to 50kg more per kg of concrete as compared to fibrillated fibres.
UV stable on direct exposure to sunlight.
Its harmless from medical point of view as it does not enter into lungs like asbestos.
Its environmental friendly, does not rot, and is corrosion resistant.
Clear improvements such as for example ductility and durability.
For Micro Crack Preventionproperties in Plaster & Mortars with Fine Aggregates
Dosage Level: The recommended dosage level for Plastering is 125 grams per 50-Kg bag of Cement.
For Micro Crack Prevention properties in Concrete & Mortars with Fine/Coarse Aggregates
Dosage Level: The recommended dosage level for Concreting is 900 grams per Cubic Metre
For Anti Fire Crack properties in Concrete & Mortars with Coarse Aggregates
Dosage Level: The recommended dosage level for Concreting is 2Kgs per Cubic Metre
Instructions with Concrete Mixer:
Add the Dry Mix Components first to the Mixer, i.e. Cement, Sand and Aggregates (in case of
concrete). Add the Fibres along with Water to the Dry Mix and then MIX for at least 1 minute.
The Fibers becomes Uniformly Distributed throughout the Cement Concrete matrix.
Instructions for Manual Mixing:
Open Fiber Packet and Spread them randomly over the Dry Mix Components; i.e. Cement and
Sand. Mix Eurofaser thoroughly with the Dry Mix Components. Then add the Mix Water to the Dry
Mix and then WET MIX thoroughly. The Fibers become Uniformly Distributed throughout the
Cement Concrete matrix.
